Last year, employers were challenged to quickly respond to sweeping reforms in Pennsylvania's local earned income tax (EIT) requirements under Act 32. The new annual reporting requirements will first be implemented for this tax year, causing businesses to face the second phase of implementing Act 32.

Join Debera Salam in this timely and informative webinar as she discusses the changes under Act 32, and reviews various updates that have occurred throughout the year and the steps that will be required in meeting the new 2012 annual reporting requirements. Topics covered include:

  • General requirements of Act 32
  • Collecting and verifying employee data
  • Computing and verifying EIT withholding rates
  • Fields and accumulators needed to meet monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements
  • Annual EIT reporting requirements under Act 32
    • Changes in tax collectors
    • Other Pennsylvania items of interest, including the new Form 1099-MISC reporting requirement
