Inefficiency in the HR and payroll workflow process results in errors, wasted time, unnecessary costs and increased pressure on the bottom line. The problem is with the seemingly endless stream of data that’s collected but ignored – never to be analyzed, never to be used to bolster operations.

This session will focus on how to streamline the workforce-management process through the integration of existing processes and data, resulting in:
•Reduced overtime costs by as much as 80 percent;
•Increased management ability to make timely, justified decisions;
•Higher productivity through enhanced employee satisfaction and retention;
•Reduced human error and increased overall accuracy by 3 percent to 5 percent;
•Increased customer satisfaction;
•Streamlined regulatory compliance.

Many companies are on the right track. Indeed, 60 percent already automate their timekeeping, but the majority of them do not have their time and attendance data integrated throughout the payroll process. We’ll explore how to optimize workforce management through a comprehensive, integrated system that comprises each of these major components:
•Scheduling
•Time and attendance
•Human resources
•Payroll

We’ll then explain the bottom-line, practical benefits for both employers and employees, including:
•Real-time scheduling provides the flexibility to accurately communicate who is working when – now and in the near future – reducing unnecessary (or exploited) overtime;
•Efficient time capture and real-time insight into employee work hours, along with their respective wages and benefits;
•Self-service functions that share the workload and empower employees to access their schedules, input time on scene or remotely, swap shifts, make vacation requests and update vital employee information, creating an accurate cross-reference of information and timely communication between employers and employees;
•Human-resources employee information being shared across solutions (scheduling, time and attendance and payroll) creates a single master source of employment data on each employee, eliminating error-prone, re-typed information to/from multiple operations;
•Payroll processing is made more efficient and saves time via automation and integration.
•Uniformity/integration of data processing ensures regulatory compliance, i.e. wage and hour issues, proper classification and required documentation.
