Aideen is a VAT Director at KPMG Ireland with nearly 12 years’ experience providing VAT advisory services to a broad range of Irish and multinational clients on all their VAT issues with particular expertise in financial services and property.

Aideen’s client portfolio includes Irish and multinational clients across a range of sectors in addition to banks, public limited companies, semi-State bodies and high net worth individuals. Specific areas of expertise include financial services, property transactions, cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions and Tax Authority interaction. She seeks to match her strong technical skills to get the best commercial answer for her clients.

Aideen has presented on VAT at a wide range of forums and has written numerous articles on VAT including for the Irish Taxation Review and Tax Monitor Journal. She is a former editor of the Irish Tax Institute’s Indirect Tax Manual.

Aideen is a business and law graduate from University College Dublin. She is a Chartered Accountant and also a member of the Irish Taxation Institute.
