Aaron Kaufmann is co-editor-in-chief with Dennis McClelland of the 2011 Supplement and forthcoming 2012 Cumulative Supplement to The Fair Labor Standards Act, Second Edition.

Position: Partner at Leonard Carder, LLP, a San Francisco Bay Area law firm representing labor unions, employees, and pension and health/welfare benefit plans. Aaron's practice focuses on representing workers in individual and class action employment litigation, with particular emphasis on wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation and whistleblower law.

Favorite Part of Job: Having class members call to thank us after receiving a class payment.

Most Meaningful Project: Litigating class actions on behalf of workers who have been stripped of all workplace protections due to being misclassified as independent contractors.

Enjoys: Listening to and playing music, swimming, and following San Francisco Giants baseball.
