Eric Bartholet is a Managing Director of Manatt Health Solutions (MHS), an interdisciplinary policy and business advisory practice of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. With more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry providing strategic consulting, counseling and information technology outsourcing leadership, Mr. Bartholet advises providers, payers and other healthcare clients on the broad implications stemming from healthcare reform, with a particular emphasis on planning for health IT initiatives and compliance.

Mr. Bartholet has been engaged in a wide variety of projects involving strategic planning and information technology. These have included the development of numerous IT strategic plans, the design and implementation of Enterprise Data Warehouse and Analytics programs, Health Information Exchange planning, merger and IT organization integration planning, strategic systems evaluation and total cost of ownership analysis, IT governance design and implementation, and a range of regulatory compliance and other general IT advisory services.

Prior to joining MHS, Mr. Bartholet was a partner in the Health Delivery Planning and Operations Group of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC)’s Global Healthcare Solutions, where he specialized in IT strategy, planning and organizational design. He provided leadership for a broad range of IT strategic services, including spearheading the development of CSC’s academic medical center IT integration capabilities and developing and leading CSC’s “meaningful use” advisory services solutions.

He earned his B.A. from the University of Colorado.

Mr. Bartholet is a co-author of the Bloomberg BNA Health Law & Business Portfolio Series No. 1150, Health Information Technology: Emerging Landscape, Legal Issues and Opportunities.
