BBNA's Paul Albergo is Featured Speaker at FEI's 32nd Annual CFRI Conference

 Paul Albergo, Bloomberg BNA's Director of News Coverage, will be a featured speaker at Financial Executives International (FEI)'s 32nd Annual Current Financial Reporting Issues (CFRI) Conference. The conference will be held Nov. 18-19 at the New York Marriott Marquis. Hans Hoogersvorst, IASB chairman, and Russell Golden, the newly appointed FASB chairman, are keynote speakers at the conference.

This year's conference will focus on economic challenges and regulatory reform, covering the latest accounting and reporting developments from the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the International Accounting Standards Board, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Topics will include: FASB/IASB technical accounting updates; cyber incidents and financial reporting; insights on the 2013 revised Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) framework; disclosure simplification; updates on revenue recognition and lease accounting; and a special Q&A with the SEC and the FASB.
