Bloomberg BNA Announces the 2012 Edition of “Preventing Sexual Harassment and Other Workplace Harassment: A Fact Sheet for Employees”

• Thompson v. North American Stainless, in which the U.S. Supreme Court held that a fired employee can allege retaliation based on the protest of a close associate
• Hernandez v. Yellow Transportation, Inc., in which a U.S. appeals court ruled that harassment is unlawful only if it is based on the protected status of the suing employee
• Kelley v. The Conco Companies, in which a California court held that sexually offensive behavior does not necessarily constitute sexual harassment

The Fact Sheet, available in eight-page booklet and fold-out formats,  is an excellent tool with which to strengthen an organization's nonharassment policy.
