Bloomberg BNA Releases New Supplement to PTC Regulations

Bloomberg BNA has announced the publication of the December 2012 Supplement to Patent, Trademark, and Copyright Regulations, the latest update to a resource that responds to the requirements of rapidly changing intellectual property laws and fills the gap in current reporting of relevant administrative regulations.

This convenient, one-volume compilation of all the intellectual property regulations found in C.F.R. Volume 37, the code which governs this area of law, also includes extra materials not published in Volume 37—agency policy pronouncements; citations to public laws, the Federal Register, and BNA’s Patent, Trademark & Copyright Journal; vital information governing the operations of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Copyright Office, and Copyright Arbitration Royalty Panels; and comprehensive indexes to help streamline legal research. The December 2012 Supplement provides updates on the PTO cost-of-living increase in patent fees, and currently pending rules, including:

• Amendments to implement micro entity status for paying patent fees
• Copyright Office proposal to amend Section 115 reporting requirements
• Copyright Office proposed definition of “claimant” for registration
