Arlington, Va. (July 11, 2011) – BNA, the largest independent publisher of legal and business news and analysis, announced the launch of a new logo and website, symbols of a refreshed brand identity that reflects the many ways the Arlington-based specialized news and information provider is evolving to serve its customers.
BNA’s updated logo is a new rendering of the classic BNA dome, and a reflection of the company’s long history of original reporting from the nation’s capital, sending more seasoned reporters to Capitol Hill every business day than any other news organization. The new symbol is also a nod to BNA’s solid, well-established state and international coverage.
In addition, BNA launched a redesigned and enhanced www.bna.com website, expanding the number of sample articles, blog postings, and products featured. The new website has improved navigation and more than 750 category pages that organize products based on the topics BNA covers. The new bna.com also features BNA’s network of more than 2,000 reporters, correspondents, and expert practitioners. Unlike many information providers that aggregate information from multiple sources, the people that create BNA’s news, analysis, and commentary pieces are always identified.
“There’s much more to BNA’s new look than a graphic design update,” said President and Publisher Gregory C. McCaffery. “BNA has long been a trusted source for our many loyal customers, and the new logo and optimized website are symbols of BNA’s commitment to providing the high-level information that matters most to the success of their professional lives,” said McCaffery.
The new logo will be visible on products, websites, correspondence, packaging, and elsewhere. In addition, BNA is continually launching new products, enhancing existing products, and making improvements to bna.com to meet changing information needs.
“BNA’s many national and international brands will now be represented with a bold focus on what makes us different in the business information marketplace: our reporters, correspondents, editors, and expert practitioners — and the original reporting and guidance they produce every day,” said Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Fitzpatrick. “The new website combines the old bna.com, bnatax.com, and numerous individual sites into one integrated site. Along with BNA’s new Resource Centers, it represents a change that will be mostly transparent to customers, but will vastly enhance the quality of their online experience with BNA.”
