Payroll is difficult enough and then there is California, an island unto itself! Join noted payroll authority (and treacherous water guide) Mindy (Harada) Mayo as she discusses the “quirks and craziness” that make up payroll and labor rules in California.

During this session she will discuss payroll tax reporting in California, including the applicability of state income tax withholding which applies to anyone who steps foot in the state. How can you administratively comply with this?

She will also address California's labor rules around paying employees: When is overtime required? What are you required to notify employees of? How do California rules differ from federal rules?

This live, 90-minute webinar will address the rules that anyone sending an employee into California needs to know. Whether you have had a company established in the state for years or are new to having workers there, you will learn what California is currently focusing on when they perform either a wage and hour audit or an employment tax audit.

Bring your questions and join us in navigating the treacherous waters of California Payroll.
