Coaching has exploded in the past 10 to 15 years. In fact, the largest segment of the self-improvement market, which hovers around eight billion dollars, is life coaching, business coaching and specialized niche coaching. Chances are either you or someone close to you has worked with a coach or is considering hiring one. But, what do you really know about coaching effectiveness?

While business coaching originated as a remedial measure for low performers, coaching is now more often used by high performers in a wide variety of functions and industries. Why? Is it really all its cracked up to be? How do you know if its as effective as or more effective than other options?

Presented by management consultant Ann Tedesco, Ph.D. of OrgVitality, Bloomberg BNA invites you to the following Webinar. The second in a Webinar series, CoachingDoes it Really Work?, explores anecdotal and research evidence of coaching effectiveness.

Whether you are an individual thinking of hiring a coach, a manger considering a coach for a direct report, or an HR professional responsible for a coaching program in your organization, there is plenty to consider.

In this Webinar, you will learn:

  • The ins and outs (and ups and downs) of coaching
  • Characteristics of effective coaches
  • What you as the client need to do to help make coaching successful
  • How to evaluate coaching at the individual, group, or organizational level
