Conflict Minerals—More Than Just the SEC to Worry About

For years, activist groups have been calling attention to certain minerals that are contained in many consumer electronics, raising awareness that certain armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo and adjoining countries benefit financially from the mining and trade of some of these minerals.
