As companies are picking up again from what seemed to be a long economic tailspin, traditional functions of the HR role are still important. These include recruitment; employee training and development; remuneration and benefits; and fostering a good corporate culture, to mention a few. However as a new generation of employees are waking up to a world in which social, environmental and human rights will be taken for granted, HR managers may need to rethink some of the ways in which they will attract and retain key talent.

Join Cecilia Utne and Rensia Melles, with Shepell.fgi, as they explore how thriving businesses in the new 21st century have to rewrite the roadmap for HR that includes Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Issues covered include:

  • Ethics
  • Social marketing
  • Environment (sustainability and resilience)
  • Global mindset
  • Human rights, health and safety
  • Community involvement
