Michael Carr joined Argo Pro in April 2011, as Vice President heading the wholesale E&O underwriting division. In September 2011, he also took on the management of Argo Pro’s retail professional liability business (aka Insight Insurance Services). In December 2011, he was promoted to Senior Vice President overseeing all of Argo Pro’s errors and omissions lines. Prior to joining Argo Pro, Mr. Carr served as Vice President – Technology & Media at Navigators Pro where he led the development and implementation of new technology E&O and cyber risk products. Prior to that, he served as Director – Technology and Data Security at Markel Corporation and Assistant Vice President in CNA’s Technology segment. He also served as a regional and zonal manager in AIG’s National Union Professional Liability division managing a book of Media, Tech E&O, MPL, Cyber, Employed Lawyers, School Leaders and

Charles P. Bellingrath, Arc Excess & Surplus of New England
Charles Bellingrath joined ARC Excess & Surplus of New England in July 2011 as the Product Leader for Privacy, Network Security, Technology and Media Liability. In his role Mr. Bellingrath is responsible for advising agents and clients on issues related to technology, privacy and cyber related risks as well as negotiating with carriers on policy terms and conditions. In addition, Mr. Bellingrath is responsible for product development and production throughout the United States. Prior to joining ARC, Mr. Bellingrath was a Senior Broker and head of the Cyber/Tech division at a regional wholesaler where he initially launched the product. Mr. Bellingrath specializes in placing Cyber, Security & Privacy policies including technology errors & omissions, internet liability, media liability, and miscellaneous professional liability. Mr. Bellingrath frequently instructs Privacy Seminars and participates on executive panels for National Cyber Risk conferences. He is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and is currently pursuing an RPLU designation. Mr. Bellingrath graduated from Kingswood-Oxford School is West Hartford, CT and then attended Assumption College where he earned a degree in Marketing & Economics.

Barbara J. Holland, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Barbara Holland became Regional Manager for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Civil Rights (OCR) in October 2012, and is responsible for management and oversight of OCR’s work enforcing both civil rights and HIPAA compliance in PA, DE, MD, WV, VA, and DC. Prior to that appointment, Ms. Holland was HHS’s Deputy Executive Secretary, managing on behalf of the Secretary the review and thorough vetting of regulatory policies and decisions for the Affordable Care Act and other Department initiatives and the development and implementation of Department responses to Presidential Executive Orders and Memoranda on regulatory reform, and regulatory agenda-setting. Ms. Holland holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania where she was an Editor of the Law Review. She also holds a Masters Degree in Public Health from Yale University.

Katherine Keefe, Beazley Group
Katherine Keefe joined Beazley in September 2012, to lead the Beazley Breach Response Services Group (BBR Services). As head of BBR Services, Ms. Keefe directs the management of breach incidents reported by Beazley BBR policyholders and develops Beazley’s risk management services designed to minimize the occurrence and impacts of data breaches. With over 25 years as a practicing lawyer, Ms. Keefe has extensive experience in data privacy and security issues, including navigating the regulatory and operational challenges of data breaches. A nationally known HIPAA expert, Ms. Keefe has provided regulatory compliance and breach response guidance to clients in the health care segment, an industry profoundly impacted by federal and state privacy laws and regulations. Ms. Keefe holds a BA from the State University of New York at Albany and received her law degree from Temple University School of Law.

Shawn McLaughlin, Hub Healthcare Solutions
Shawn McLaughlin is President of Hub Healthcare Solutions Hub International Limited. For almost 20 years, Mr. McLaughlin has focused solely on providing insurance products and risk management strategies for the healthcare industry. Mr. McLaughlin serves as the President of Hub Healthcare Solutions, a department of Hub where he drives the strategic direction of the healthcare practice across Hub’s U.S. footprint. He is also responsible for managing risk programs for a diverse healthcare clientele both locally and nationally in addition to being a national resource to Hub staff and clients. In 2002, Mr. McLaughlin was a founding partner of Risk Transfer Insurance Alliance (RTA), a firm specializing in insurance and risk management services for the healthcare industry. In June of 2010, RTA was acquired by HUB International. The combination of healthcare expertise and a national distribution became the platform for the development of Hub Healthcare Solutions. Prior, Mr. McLaughlin was the Insurance Manager for a large healthcare system in Boston where his responsibilities included managing the hospital’s risk exposures. Mr. McLaughlin graduated with honors in Healthcare Administration from Stonehill College (MA). He is an active member in the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), the Massachusetts Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and the Medical Group Management Association.

Leigh McMullan, Crum & Forster
Leigh McMullan is a Vice President of the Management and Professional Services (MAPS) Division in Crum & Forster’s New York City office. There she serves as the National Practice Leader for Cyber and Technology Errors and Omissions. Ms. McMullan is responsible for the development of the cyber product, related forms and applications and nationwide marketing strategy. Prior to her current role, she held several positions at ACE USA and Valiant Insurance Company. In addition she is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), serves on the National Committee for Future PLUS and is a Governor of the John Street Club.

Adam Sills, Allied World Assurance Company, Ltd.
Adam Sills is Vice President, E&O at Allied. As Lead Underwriter for Allied World’s technology and information liability group, Mr. Sills develops the company’s strategy for targeted technology, privacy liability and network risk sectors. He is an expert on data breach and loss cost analysis, and is quoted in various publications including Computerworld, American Banker, Insurance Journal and InformationWeek. In addition to frequent speaking engagements across the United States, including multiple regional ASHRM meetings, Mr. Sills served as a moderator at the 2009 Risk and Insurance Management Society conference, the 2009 McAfee FOCUS conference, and the 2007 Professional Liability Underwriting Society International conference. Mr. Sills is a graduate of Cornell University. 

This program’s CLE-credit eligibility varies by state. Bloomberg BNA is an accredited provider in the states of New York*, California, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia, and most other jurisdictions grant CLE credit on a per-program basis. At this time, Bloomberg BNA does not apply directly to the states of Florida, Rhode Island, Montana and Hawaii although credit is usually available for attorneys who wish to apply individually. Hardship Policy
Bloomberg BNA offers a hardship policy for attorneys earning less than $50,000 per year. If an attorney wishes to take advantage of this option, he or she must contact Bloomberg BNA directly. For attorneys who are unemployed or earning less than $35,000 per year, a full discount off the price of the program will be awarded upon written proof of hardship. Attorneys earning between $35,000 and $50,000 per year will receive a 50% discount off the price of the program. Any attorney working in the public service sector also qualifies for a special price.
