With more choices today regarding salary structures than ever before, employers need to know the different types of salary structures that exist, including the pros and cons of each type of structure and the organizations each structure is best-suited for, based on industry, desire for flexibility, and job types.

The webinar will explore the impact a salary structure has on the organization in terms of flexibility, control, movement, and philosophy. Finally, four different types of salary structure designs will be discussed, including traditional, market-based, step and band, with the design characteristics of each and the advantages and disadvantages associated with each structure. Two case studies will be reviewed to illustrate the type of structures which were implemented based on the specific organization’s situation and objectives.
