According to the US Census, more than 19 percent of US citizens have an identified disability. Despite this high prevalence rate, few companies have developed a deep understanding of the challenges that employees with disabilities face at work.

And while employees with disabilities have been a protected group since 1964, they have yet to receive special consideration under affirmative action policies. But this may be changing: in 2011, the US government started revisiting affirmative action laws and is considering including those with disabilities as a protected class.

Join Dr. Peter Rutigliano, Vice President & Senior Consultant at Sirota Survey Intelligence, as he:

  • Takes a closer look at the work experience for employees with disabilities
  • Highlights the critical concerns of disabled employees
  • Discusses implications and recommendations for leaders, managers, and Human Resources professionals
