International assignees, their dependents and international business travelers are increasingly working and living around the world. These unfamiliar places present health, safety and security threats for employees as well as business continuity, reputational and legal risks for their employers.

In this webinar, duty of care experts Lisbeth Claus (Professor of Global HR at the Atkinson Graduate School of Management of Willamette University) and Erin Giordano (Director of Client Outreach and Innovation at International SOS ) focus on the strategies and tactics that HR must utilize to mitigate employee risk and ensure that the company assumes its duty of care obligation as an employer. Utilizing the Integrated Duty of Care Risk Management Model™, they answer three basic questions:

1)Why should employers be concerned about duty of care?
2)How does duty of care apply to their organization?
3)How do they put duty of care into practice and sustain it?

This BNA Webinar is designed for HR and global mobility practitioners who understand the moral and legal duty of care obligations of their employer but need practical tools to raise awareness in their organization and implement a robust duty of care management process.
