Thomas Enders is a Senior Managing Director of Manatt Health Solutions (MHS), the interdisciplinary policy and business advisory practice of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. For 25 years he has worked to improve the management and delivery of healthcare, and has worked with leaders and physicians throughout the country to create innovative solutions on challenging issues, including improving operating results, developing creative program initiatives, addressing the goals of health reform, and strengthening the ability of organizations to meet the demands transforming healthcare.

Mr. Enders is a leading consultant to the country's academic medical centers (AMCs) and medical schools, integrated delivery networks, children's hospitals, health systems and associations. A skilled facilitator, his areas of focus include strategic and financial planning, organization development, formation and management of new delivery systems models (including accountable care organizations), Medicaid policy and provider delivery transformation, payment and reimbursement reform, mergers and acquisitions, and information technology strategy.

Prior to joining MHS, Mr. Enders was a senior partner and managing director with Computer Sciences Corporation's (CSC) Global Health Solutions practice. He was responsible for CSC's East Region Health Delivery practice, which included strategic services, clinical systems implementation and optimization, revenue cycle, technology and integration services, performance improvement, and information technology outsourcing for leading healthcare providers. Mr. Enders is deeply versed in health information technology, having led CSC's initiative to support states in responding proactively to the opportunities presented for health improvement utilizing health information exchange. Prior to CSC, he was a partner with APM, a healthcare management consultancy, leading projects related to strategy development, organization change, and performance improvement.

Mr. Enders earned his A.B. from the University of Chicago and his M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.

He is a a co-author of the Bloomberg BNA Health Law & Business Portfolio Series No. 1150, Health Information Technology: Emerging Landscape, Legal Issues and Opportunities.
