With Asia's rapid development and booming economy, many Western companies are entering or expanding their presence in Asia to take advantage of the increasing market opportunities. More and more Western companies are opening local offices and building up their existing businesses in Asia. Recruiting the right executives in Asia, however, has become more difficult over the years. Experienced and talented Asian executives are hard to find, and top executives may have multiple job opportunities at any one time.

Understanding the key HR issues in each Asian country is vital for recruiting the best executives. While there are a few key recruiting and retention practices that are similar throughout Asia, companies must differentiate their strategy for each Asian country. Different countries have different expectations for compensation, career advancement, and HR practices, all which affect recruitment.

What you will learn  from this interactive presentation by Ames Gross, president of Pacific Bridge:

  • The Shortage of Great Talent/Leadership in Asia
  • Asia Recruiting Strategies
  • Salary Structures and Compensation
  • Best Retention Strategies
  • Asia Organization Structure and How It Affects Recruiting
  • Cultural Trends: the Effects on Recruiting and Retention in Asia
