Alfred Feliu founded Feliu Neutral Services, LLC in 2016. He has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of employment law, labor law, and commercial matters. Mr. Feliu is a well-respected arbitrator and mediator, most notably as a member of the American Arbitration Association's Complex Commercial Case, Class Action, and Employment Disputes Panels  He is a member of various panels for CPR International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution. He is also in demand as an independent investigator of discrimination, Sarbanes-Oxley, and other employment-related and commercial disputes. Mr. Feliu has served as the EEO Officer for the Port of New York and New Jersey since 2006 in which capacity he investigates discrimination and harassment claims, and is a past Chair of the Labor & Employment Law Section of The New York State Bar Association.

Prior to founding Feliu Neutral Services, LLC, Mr. Feliu represented and counseled clients on a broad array of employment and commercial law matters, including: breach of contract and fraud claims; equal employment opportunity disputes under federal, state, and local discrimination law; post-employment limitations on competition; executive compensation issues; Sarbanes-Oxley compliance issues; wage and hour claims; wrongful discharge claims; privacy rights and obligations; negligence claims; workplace violence; defamation; and whistleblowing claims. Early in his career, he represented management clients while at large, international law firms, most notably with Paul Hastings LLP, where he became a Partner in 1991.

Mr. Feliu served from 1999 to 2004 as Editor-in-Chief of New York Employment Law & Practice, a monthly employment law newsletter published by American Lawyer Media. He has authored or co-edited three books with a fourth book due to be published in 2014, and has authored several chapters in leading publications as well as numerous articles and papers.

Mr. Feliu received his B.A. from Columbia University and his J.D. from Columbia Law School.

He is Editor-in-Chief of the ABA/Bloomberg BNA treatise ADR in Employment Law and co-author of Negligence in Employment Law.
