The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) has just published G4, its fourth generation of sustainability reporting guidelines. The goal of G4 is to address requirements for sustainability data, and enable reporters to provide relevant information to various stakeholder groups. Another aim is to improve on content in the previous guidelines – G3 and G3.1 – with strengthened technical definitions and improved clarity, helping reporters, information users and assurance providers.

Companies and organizations interested in learning about the new GRI sustainability reporting guidelines should plan to join two experts in the field as they discuss their views on the changes to the reporting framework.

This 90-minute webinar is designed to:

  • Examine the purpose, advantages, and disadvantages of the global reporting framework and the new G4 version, and address why GRI G4 should be used
  • Review the major changes of new GRI G4 Guidelines for sustainability reporting
  • Consider the impacts of the new guidelines for reporting organizations and address what actions need to be taken while reporting
  • Identify key implications for organizations that wish to be at the forefront in their reporting, including how to ensure readiness for using the new guidelines

The presenters will discuss the key points providing insight from experience and perspectives and will conclude with a live Q&A session.
