Next week, on Oct. 9 at 9 a.m. EST, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers is hosting a teleconference on an alternative Trademark Clearinghouse proposal recently put forward by ARI Registry Services, Neustar, Demand Media, and Verisign. The group is concerned that the current Trademark Clearinghouse plan is unworkable in practice.
