Matthew Jacobs is a litigator who handles complex, multi-party insurance coverage matters in state and federal courts. Corporations also seek his counsel on the availability of insurance coverage for a wide variety of claims, ranging from directors and officers liability and mortgage lending practices to business interruption losses, product liability and regulatory investigations and environmental matters. He also regularly advises Fortune 500 companies in the placement of various types of insurance coverage.

Mr. Jacobs earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. from Princeton University.

Gerald P. “Kip” Dwyer, Robinson & Cole LLP
Kip Dwyer is a member of Robinson & Cole’s Litigation Section and focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. Admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Washington, Mr. Dwyer has a geographically expansive practice, maintaining a presence in both his firm's New York City and Hartford offices. He primarily represents insurance and financial services companies in significant litigation involving various insurance-related activities and products, ranging from marketing of flood insurance to the scope and availability of business interruption coverage for the terrorist attacks on September 11. He is currently representing major carriers in the litigation concerning Hurricane Katrina losses in Louisiana and Mississippi. Mr. Dwyer serves as national coordinating counsel for a major Connecticut-based insurer in Hartford on Chinese drywall claims. In addition to his insurance-related practice, Mr. Dwyer also represents clients in other commercial disputes, including securities fraud, unfair trade practices, construction defect, and products liability matters.

Mr. Dwyer earned an LL.M., with distinction, from Georgetown University; a J.D., magna cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law; and an A.B. from Colgate University.

Hardship Policy
Bloomberg BNA offers a hardship policy for attorneys earning less than $50,000 per year. If an attorney wishes to take advantage of this option, he or she must contact Bloomberg BNA directly. For attorneys who are unemployed or earning less than $35,000 per year, a full discount off the price of the program will be awarded upon written proof of hardship.
