Aaron D. Kaufmann, an employment law specialist with Leonard Carder, LLP in San Francisco, is a frequent author and lecturer in the areas of wage and hour law and employment class actions, Mr. Kaufmann represents workers in individual and class action employment litigation, with particular emphasis on wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation and whistle-blower law.

Over the past decade, Mr. Kaufmann has served as class counsel in dozens of wage and hour class and collective actions. He serves on the Senior Board of Editors for the American Bar Association's treatise on The Fair Labor Standards Act and is currently Co-Editor-in-Chief for the annual supplements to that treatise. Mr. Kaufmann is Co-Chair of the ABA's Fair Labor Standards Act Sub-Committee. He is also a Fellow to The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, an organization honoring outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence.

Mr. Kaufmann received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.

He is an Editor-in-Chief of the Bloomberg Law treatise The Fair Labor Standards Act.
