Kaz Parsch is a senior manager in the International Tax Services Group of Ernst & Young in New York and has extensive background and technical expertise in US withholding tax provisions.  Kaz is a member of the FIRPTA Group in the US that consists of professionals in the US with highly specialized technical knowledge in US tax ramifications related to investments in US real property.  She has worked on a number of projects related to a determination of a US real property holding company status, application of nonrecognition provisions and filing and withholding tax requirements.  

As Kaz covers all cross-border reporting and filing requirements, she has been called in to assist professionals analyze transactions and determine appropriate filing and disclosures. Kaz is also specialized in US income tax treaties and has worked closely with DC National Office partners to analyze and provide appropriate interpretations and applications of specific treaty provisions, including interpretation and application of Limitation on Benefits and permanent establishment.  

Kaz is a licensed CPA in New York.
