Stanley N. Alpert is a partner with Constantine Cannon LLP in New York City. Formerly, he was chief of environmental litigation for the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York, where he prosecuted, defended, and supervised complex environmental civil and criminal cases. Mr. Alpert received many awards, including the Henry L. Stimson Medal and the Justice Department's Director's Award for Superior Performance, twice.

Today, Stan has moved his environmental and commercial law practice into green business and sustainability. He advises companies on how best to navigate the new carbon economy and benefit fully from the triple bottom line. He teaches courses in green business, carbon regulation, and green building.
