Amy Jane Longo is a Senior Trial Counsel with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Los Angeles. Ms. Longo was previously a Partner with O'Melveny & Myers, LLP where her practice included extensive experience as litigation and/or discovery counsel in a variety of complex class actions, with a focus on securities and ERISA litigation. She was also one of the founders and leaders of the firm's Electronic Discovery and Document Retention practice.

Ms. Longo has served as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University's School of Law and as a member of the Advisory Board for BNA's Digital Discovery & e-Evidence Report. She has also long been active in the ABA Section of Litigation, including serving on the Council and as the Co-Chair of the Class Actions and Derivative Suits Committee.

She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Columbia College and her J.D. from Columbia Law School.

Ms. Longo is co-author of the Bloomberg BNA Litigation Practice Portfolio Series No. 621, Discovery Practice Under the Federal Rules.
