The General Index is an alphabetical arrangement by major subjects of all topics covered in:

Headings in the General Index are arranged alphabetically word-by-word with the majority of headings appearing in plural form. Hyphenated words are treated as two separate words, not as single words. Numbers are treated as if spelled out.

References preceded by "FEPM", "IERM", "LRX", "SLL", and "WHM" are to the chapters and page numbers in the manuals. References to "LRX" without numerical prefixes are to pages in the binder. References preceded by "AD ", "FEP ", "IER ", "LA ", "LR ", and "WH " are to numbers assigned to specific topics in particular Outlines of Classifications. The phrase "et seq." after a reference indicates a series of three or more pages or outline numbers relating to the subject entry. "CFR" citations within parentheses refer to parts and sections of the Code of Federal Regulations.

State law and regulation references under a subject heading indicate introductory or comparative information. For specific state laws and regulations, see the names of the states.

Cross-references link related information within the index. They refer the user from one heading to another topic heading or to another related subheading.

Editors' Notes [Ed. Note:] clarify the scope of a particular heading, highlight which publication has the most thorough coverage of a topic, and where appropriate, refer the researcher to related headings.

II. LRR Table of Cases

This Table is a compilation of case names found in the Fair Employment Practices Manual (FEPM), Individual Employment Rights Manual (IERM), Labor Relations Expediter (LRX), and Wage and Hour Manual (WHM) of BNA's Labor Relations Reporter series. Cases in the Table are listed by plaintiff name alphabetically word-by-word. Hyphenated words are treated as two separate words, not as single words. Numbers are treated as if spelled out.

References are to chapters and page numbers in the manuals. The number before the colon refers to the chapter; the number following the colon refers to the page.

Citations are provided to the full text of cases in the Labor Relations Reference Manual, Fair Employment Practices Cases, Individual Employment Rights Cases, and Wages and Hours Cases services where available.
