Nearly every company ascribes to the belief of paying for performance. In practice, nearly two-thirds are falling short in providing differentiated rewards for high versus low performers. The pressures of attracting and retaining high performing talent in a global marketplace that is experiencing extreme sensitivity to costs, shrinking margins, and an intensified need for productivity make it more critical than ever to focus limited compensation resources on the strongest contributors.

This webinar will draw upon both academic and experiential evidence to make the case for changing our ways and establishing a differentiated approach to paying for performance. Research, including a recently published study focusing on successful attraction and retention of high performers in organizations with differentiated rewards, will be shared to demonstrate the economic benefits that come from linking rewards and performance, even in settings where substantial teamwork and cooperation is needed. Real world examples of the new differentiated pay for performance strategies being used by employers will be provided.

By participating in this webinar attendees will be better prepared to make the case for differentiating rewards in their workplaces and they will be able to discuss successful strategies used by other firms.

Participants in this webinar will learn about:
•The organizational dynamics that are limiting the achievement of differentiated rewards in most companies
•Academic research that reveals the economic benefit of providing substantial rewards for high performers and modest rewards to those who are not contributing
•New strategies for achieving differentiated pay for performance—including approaches that are being used by organizations that are applying this thinking today.
