Oscar De la Vega is an employment and labor law attorney with more than 30 years of experience and leadership in the sector. His practice is focused on labor consulting, litigation and social security legal services for major multinational companies, and developing and implementing successful strategies in collective labor law.

Oscar has written several articles on labor law, which have been published in international publications including Who’s Who Legal, Practical Law Company (PLC) and Getting the Deal Through. He has also been recognized and highly recommended by these international publications as well as by Chambers Latin America, as one of the leading lawyers in labor law in Mexico.

In 2012, Who’s Who Legal recognized Oscar as one of the top ten most experienced and recognized labor attorneys in the world and the only Mexican on the list.
He frequently speaks at events organized by local and international associations such as the Accountants Bar Association, the Council of Maquila Industry, the International Bar Association (IBA). He has also spoken on labor law at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.

Oscar is currently president of the Human Capital Committee of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF), vice president of the Labor and Employment Committee of the IBA, and an active member of the Labor Committee of the Employer’s Confederation of the Mexican Republic (COPARMEX).
