Justice Department Reveals First Cases Settled Under Lobbying Disclosure Statute

The Justice Department revealed for the first time Aug. 15 that it has reached three settlements since April 2004 resolving federal lobbying disclosure violations. The settlements called for a total of $47,000 in fines and for the reporting problems to be corrected.
