Nancy Emison’s “Sales Tax Slice” blog covers current sales and use tax developments, and highlights states’ reactions to advancements in technology and the evolution of methods for completing transactions. Nancy joined Bloomberg BNA in 1992, and is currently a State Tax Law Editor focused on sales and use tax issues. She maintains a daily monitor of local sales tax issues, writes articles for the Weekly State Tax Report, and helps maintain the various Bloomberg BNA state tax navigators and portfolios. She was previously a Tax Law Editor in the Indexing Department, working on all tax indexes, both federal and state, and helping develop a taxonomy system used throughout Bloomberg BNA.
