More than 1,900 payroll professionals are attending the more than 100 workshops and training sessions at this year's APA Congress, some 715 of them for the first time, according to APA Executive Director Dan Maddux. Also speaking at the morning opening session May 15, Maddux thanked those who could attend this year, despite the fact that many employers are cutting down on travel. He noted that this year's exhibit hall is the largest ever, however, with 233 booths and 138 exhibitors.
