Welcome to BNA's online coverage of the 21st Annual
American Payroll Association Congress, held in Las Vegas April 29-May
3!
This special home page is designed to augment your APA Congress
experience--be it in person or via the Net. It also comes as an
indicator of the effort we make at BNA to provide you the payroll
information you need, when you need it, from the payroll professional's
information source of record, BNA's Payroll Library. This
commitment is reflected in all our products, and in our efforts
to enrich the community of professionals we serve.
If you are not already a subscriber to BNA's Payroll Library
or its sister publications: HR Library and Compensation and Benefits
Library, then click above for a free, no obligation trial, or peruse
the BNA product catalog. We are confident you'll find the information
solution to your administrative and compliance issues through these
products.
APA Congress and Las Vegas
The last time APA Congress was held in Las Vegas (1999) BNA was
there, providing exclusive online coverage. A special article included
on this site covers everything from IRS to the toga party hosted
by APA at Ceasars Palace. Who can forget the sight of APA's Executive
Director, Dan Maddux, on the back of an elephant?
This year, we will again be providing a special glimpse into the
general sessions and selected workshops covered by BNA editors.
In addition, information on exhibit hall events also will be included,
as well as photos of speakers, award winners, and other Congress
information. To get a flavor of what to expect with this year's
Web coverage, check out what we did in the past. Our coverage of
the 2002 APA Congress on the Web is at http://www.bna.com/payroll/apa2002.
While nothing will take the place of your full attendance at the
APA Congress, our coverage here is the next best thing to being
there. This page will remain active for some time after the Congress,
so you can "bookmark" it, and share with your friends
a taste of what APA's Annual Congress is all about.
Sincerely,
Michael Baer, CPP
Managing Editor
