Welcome! As President of the American Society for Payroll
Management, I am pleased to welcome you to BNA's Internet
coverage of ASPM's Annual Forum and Trade Show for 2002. BNA's
live coverage of the event will give you a glimpse of today's
most pressing payroll issues.
ASPM has much to offer to payroll, employment tax, Human
Resource and systems development professionals. The Forum
is just one way that ASPM helps you keep up with fast-changing
industry trends in software, management tools, and regulatory
changes. We provide opportunities to work with peers, many
of whom have extensive experience with the significant challenges
and opportunities that are facing you today.
However, make no mistake: There is no replacement for being
there in person. If you need to know what government changes
are coming; if you need to know what technology improvements
are emerging; if you need to know how your peers are handling
difficult issues; and if want to help develop Government legislation
and regulations that make sense in the real world, you need
to be there. Put the 2003 Government Symposium in Washington
(April 6-9, 2003), and the Fall Forum (Sept. 14-17, 2003,
in Orlando) on your calendar for next year, and in your budget.
We look forward to seeing you.
In the meantime, be sure to check ASPM's website at http://www.aspm.org
for updates, breaking news and excerpts from the best Forum
presentations. Be sure to call me at (866) 313-ASPM if we
can be of service to you.
Once again, we wish to thank BNA for their outstanding Web
coverage of our annual forum, and for their continuing commitment
and contributions to the payroll community.
