Washington, DC (September 12, 2006) – SEC Division of Corporation Finance Director John White, who led the Division and the SEC through the successful completion of groundbreaking new rules on executive compensation, stock options, and related party transactions disclosure, will be the lead speaker at BNA's Executive Compensation Update on October 4, 2006 in Washington, DC. The conference will be held at the Westin Embassy Row, from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
White's division implemented the most extensive changes in 15 years in the area of executive pay, while concurrently broadening the SEC's investigation of option practices at more than 80 companies, and addressed the largest number of comments received on a rule proposal. Mr. White will be joined by Paula Dubberly, Associate Director, SEC Division of Corporation Finance.
