BNA and Lynn & Steve Glasser to Collaborate on New Educational and Publishing Projects

Washington, DC (March 2, 2006) – BNA (The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc.), a Washington-based publisher of news and analysis services for professionals, and Sandpiper Partners LLC, of Bloomfield, NJ whose principal partners are Lynn Glasser and Stephen Glasser, today announced an agreement to collaborate on the development of a suite of new educational and publishing projects.

"BNA's vast storehouse of legal information allied with Sandpiper's keen understanding of the current challenges facing lawyers and law firm managers provides us the opportunity to offer innovative new education products and practice tools for the legal profession," said BNA Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Gregory McCaffery.

Sandpiper Partners LLC is the latest brainchild of Stephen and Lynn Glasser, creators of world- class conferences for the legal profession, as well as a wide range of print and electronic information products for more than 30 years. The Glassers have developed over 1,000 educational events for law firms and companies. They founded Glasser LegalWorks, a highly regarded and successful legal publishing and education company they sold to West/Thomson in 2004. They are authorities on legal practice, law firm economics, and legal developments. Their firm is currently assisting SUNY Stony Brook University College of Business in developing the first executive MBA degree program for business executives and partners at law firms.

BNA's news and information products address the full range of legal, legislative, regulatory, and economic developments affecting business. Today BNA has more than 350 information services for the legal profession, in electronic and print formats, in areas such as corporate and securities law and business, employment law and employee benefits, intellectual property, health care, litigation, and other fields.
