New Management Software from BNA and Enverity Helps Meet Requirements of ISO 14001:2004

NEWS RELEASE

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 2006 – BNA announces an innovative new management software tool, IS0 14001/EMS, which tracks ISO 14001 certification or self-certification and helps professionals to develop and support their own Environmental Management System (EMS).

Unlike other ISO 14001 or EMS support tools, BNA's Web-based system places an emphasis on compliance management. Subscribers can assess their facility, assign and track tasks, manage documents, manage compliance, and more. “With this innovative software, you can link to regulations and even receive weekly notification of regulatory changes and updates,” explains Mark Kozeal, market manager of BNA's EHS Division.

Users of ISO 14001 will gain support at all levels of EMS management—from performing gap analysis and self-assessments, creating action plans using built-in customizable task forms, and being able to better manage records and documents. “The entire system is powered by Enverity—a California-based EHS software company. Their reputation for building outstanding Web-enabled software applications for environmental compliance management is another invaluable benefit to subscribers,” says Margery Moore, BNA strategic alliance manager.

Kozeal adds, “Imagine being able to build links that speed you to BNA's EHS regulatory citations, search across all documents, tasks, activities, and standard references, and customizing the software to meet individual needs. With our new ISO 14001/EMS software, all this—and more—is possible.”

Complimentary demonstrations are available and can be scheduled by visiting BNA's corporate Website at www.bna.com/demo and enter Priority Code ISOW961AA, or by calling BNA Customer Relations at 800-372-1033.
