Washington, DC (January 30, 2007) – The demand for economic growth and increased profits in law firms today requires meaningful discussion about law firm profitability.

BNA has teamed up with Sandpiper Partners Inc., pioneers in management education for law firms and creators of the first Executive MBA for Law Firm Managers, to offer a different approach to the profitability discussion. Working with leaders in the legal field and business intelligence software provider Redwood Analytics, BNA has put together the first program that drills down and studies profitability analysis in a way that can have an impact on a law firm’s bottom line in 2007!  These one-day workshops, offered in Atlanta, Chicago, and New York, will benefit:

  • Managing partners
  • Members of executive committees
  • Executive directors
  • CFOs
  • Directors of finance
  • Research analysts.

The workshop offers insights into not just what thought leaders are saying about profitability analysis, but what they are doing about it. This unique approach teaches proven measurement methodology and addresses each of the major drivers of profitability with correct analytical focus and appropriate action plans. Each segment also will address potential cultural and operational obstacles to implementing a meaningful platform.  The workshop brings together in one day the most respected operating and financial officers, executive directors, and top level business development leaders and practitioners from the nation’s leading law firms. Each workshop will have a regional focus, noting particular factors that apply to firms in the part of the country where the workshop is held.  Working press will be welcomed, with advance registration.
