Arlington, Va. (March 19, 2009) – The erosion in employer hiring observed in the first quarter of this year will continue in the second quarter with significant year-over-year declines. The overall hiring outlook is now comparable to or worse than that in the last economic downturn, according to results from 287 employers responding to BNA’s latest quarterly employment survey.
