ISO has mandated that all of its new or revised management system standards use the same high-level structure, definitions, and common text. The ISO 14001 standard on environmental management systems currently is being revised to reflect this new approach. At a minimum, this revision will result in a complete reorganization of the ISO 14001 standard. The existing requirements already have been re-ordered and significantly rewritten to fit within the new high-level structure. The revision is not stopping there, however. Other important changes are being made, including additional requirements for organizations to identify and meet the needs and expectations of external parties; recognition that pen and paper is being replaced with electronic data; and increased focus on achieving outcomes and evaluating environmental performance.

This 90-minute webinar is designed to help you:

  • Understand the new requirements and what they may mean for your organization
  • Evaluate the impacts the standard will have on your existing document, record, and data management systems
  • Prepare for the changes organizations will need to make to be in conformance with the revised standard
