Robert J. Bach is an employee benefits and ERISA attorney based in New York. He has practiced for more than 25 years, and has been counsel to large and small single and multi-employer plans providing pension, medical, disability, and other benefits. Bach counsels plan trustees and their committees, and has supervised other attorneys involving the establishment, administration, and termination of plans. In addition to his litigation experience, Bach has been active in the Employee Benefits Committee of the Labor Section of the American Bar Association, and from 1984-1987 he was the co-chair of that committee. He is also a past chair of the American Bar Association’s Joint Committee on Employee Benefit Committee. Bach is a member of the Bloomberg BNA Benefits Practice Resource Advisory Board. He has also served as a chapter editor and contributing author for the BNA Books treatise “Employee Benefits Law,” which is available as part of the Bloomberg BNA Benefits Practice Resource Center.
