Sarah Wright is an partner in October Three Consulting's New York office. She is an expert in actuarial consulting related to qualified and nonqualified plans, plan design, benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions, and coverage and nondiscrimination testing. In all, she has over 20 years of experience in the field of retirement consulting. Wright has a particular specialty in consulting to partnerships regarding their retirement plans.

Wright graduated with honors from Wellesley College with a B.A. in mathematics. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. She is a member of the Bloomberg BNA Benefits Practice Resource Advisory Board.

Wright's professional activities include being a member of the Pension Liaison Group of the IRS Brooklyn Key District (1992-1998; 2010-current), being elected to the Society of Actuaries' Pension Section Council (2001-2004, Chair 2003-2004), and serving on the American Academy of Actuaries' Pension Committee (2005-2010). Her speaking engagements include the Northeast IRS Benefits Conference (committee chair 2010-present), Enrolled Actuaries' Meeting, the Conference of Consulting Actuaries' Annual Meeting, the Society of Actuaries Meetings, the American Bar Association Center for Continuing Legal Education, and the Massachusetts Bar Association Professional Education Program.
