SEC Probes Key Energy For FCPA Violation in Russia

May 7 — Key Energy Services Inc. said May 6 in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that the commission is investigating the Texas-based oilfields services company for possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

In a Form 10-Q, Key Energy said that the probe involves business activities of its operations in Russia.

The company said that it takes such allegations “very seriously,” and that it is cooperating with and sharing the results of its own investigation with the SEC.
