Tamlin H. Bason

Legal Editor, BNA's Patent, Trademark & Copyright Journal

Tamlin came to BNA in 2010 after clerking in the D.C. Superior Court. During his first year at BNA he worked on the company's Electronic Commerce & Law Report, focusing on issues such as internet privacy, cybercrime, and online trademark and copyright infringement. Familiarization with the latter issues served him well when he began working for BNA's Patent, Trademark & Copyright Journal in 2011. At PTCJ, Tamlin has continued to follow trademark and copyright infringement issues, and he has tried—with limited success—to understand patents. Tamlin received his law degree from the Catholic University of America, and he received his bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and his wife's two cats. Tamlin can be reached at tbason@bna.com. His Twitter handle is @TamlinBason.
