The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. and its subsidiary companies (“BBNA”) are committed to making their Web content accessible to people with disabilities. BBNA has devoted significant resources to improving accessibility. With some exceptions, BBNA’s products are compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0.
These BNA.com Terms of Service including, but not limited to, the BNA.com Terms and Conditions of Use apply to the entire group of World Wide Web sites created and provided by BBNA, with the exception of the BLOOMBERGLAW.com website, which is governed by the Terms of Service for the BLOOMBERG LAW® website. These BNA.com Terms of Service are inclusive of, but not limited to, all written and graphic or design materials, underlying HTML or other source files, discussion groups, and e-mail features.
The BBNA Customer Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between BBNA and customer. In addition to these BNA.com Terms of Service, the terms and conditions of the Agreement apply to the usage of BBNA’s products.
The copyright laws give BBNA (as the copyright owner) the exclusive right to reproduce, prepare derivative works, distribute, perform, and publicly display a copyright work. The laws are intended to protect the owner’s intellectual property in the work, and to protect print and electronic works, such as publications, books, web-based applications, videos, and software. The Bloomberg BNA Copyright and Usage Guidelines are designed to assist our customers in obtaining maximum value from BBNA’s products.
The information provided through any BNA product is not a substitute for legal and other professional advice where the facts and circumstances warrant. If any user in Customer's organization requires legal advice or other professional assistance, each such user should always consult his or her own legal or other professional advisors and discuss the facts and circumstances that apply to the user.
Due to the nature of the information BNA publishes, we unfortunately cannot accept returns of products once they have been delivered.
It is the policy of the Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. to foster the productivity and economic growth of small, disabled, veteran, women and minority-owned businesses. Through outreach efforts, BNA provides fair and equal procurement opportunities for all capable competitive suppliers and vendors.
All Bloomberg BNA treatises are available on standing order, which ensures you will always receive the most current edition of the book or supplement of the title you have ordered from Bloomberg BNA’s book division. As soon as a new supplement or edition is published (usually annually) for a title you’ve previously purchased and requested to be placed on standing order, we’ll ship it to you to review for 30 days without any obligation. During this period, you can either (a) honor the invoice and receive a 5% discount (in addition to any other discounts you may qualify for) off the then-current price of the update, plus shipping and handling or (b) return the book(s), in which case, your invoice will be cancelled upon receipt of the book(s). Call us for a prepaid UPS label for your return. It’s as simple and easy as that. Most importantly, standing orders mean you will never have to worry about the timeliness of the information you’re relying on. And, you may discontinue standing orders at any time by contacting us at 1.800.960.1220 or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
