Summary of P.L. 110-245, the Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act of 2008

On May 22, 2008, the Senate passed by unanimous consent H.R. 6081, the Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act of 2008. The House passed H.R. 6081 May 20 by a vote of 403-0. President Bush signed the legislation into law on June 17, 2008.
