ABC Law School subscribes to one of the BNA Law School Program packages, but student Jane Smith doesn't yet receive any of the e-mails that come with those services. Going to the page used at the law school to access BNA publications, Jane clicks on the news sign-up link. At some schools, Jane is next prompted to enter username and password. At schools where users access BNA publications through IP authentication, however, Jane will not be prompted but will be authenticated based on her computer’s IP address.
