Jorge Ulises Ruíz Esq.


Ulises Ruíz is a Senior Manager with the Transaction Tax Group of Ernst & Young in New York with  twenty two years of experience in international taxation and transfer pricing. He joined Ernst & Young in December 2004 and has extensive experience in transactions between Mexico and the United States. His work includes consulting and tax planning in both international tax and transfer pricing as well as tax dispute resolution.

Ulises Ruíz studied law at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico in Mexico. He has graduate degrees in Taxation and Constitutional Litigation from Universidad Panamericana (Mexico) and an LLM in Tax from New York University. He is licensed to practice law in Mexico.

From 1992 to 1996, Ulises Ruíz worked in the International Division of the Mexican Ministry of Finance. From 1997 to 2004, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers' international tax practice in New York.
