Federal Energy Regulatory Commission - Standard Market Design
and Structure
December 2002
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has
issued proposed rules designed to develop a uniform set of reliability
standards and rules for all participants in the wholesale energy
market. These proposed rules - Standard Market Design (SMD) were
issued in July 2002.
